Ing. Jozef Síkela

Good evening from Munich! I travelled here by train for an event in the run-up to the Munich Security Conference, where I made one point clear: reliable supplies of critical raw materials are no longer just an economic issue, they are a security issue. Dependency is a geopolitical risk. That is why, through Global Gateway, we build strategic partnerships that secure Europe’s supply of critical minerals while creating local value in our partner countries. This means greater economic security for Europe and quality jobs for young people where these resources are located.
