Ukrainian gymnast Sofia Krainska is a hero to me. 🇺🇦❤️ A fifteen-year-old girl whose country has been devastated by Russian aggression for four years refused to pay tribute to the Russian national anthem during a medal ceremony. The anthem of a state that bears responsibility for thousands of deaths, destroyed cities, and millions of human tragedies. And Russia’s response? Calls to strip her of her medal. 👎🏻 No, Russians, the problem is not this brave Ukrainian athlete. The problem is that you still refuse to leave Ukraine - a country you invaded without provocation. And that there are still people who expect the victim to stay silent, smile, and pretend that everything is fine. Sofia Krainska has shown more courage than many Czech and European politicians. And for that, she deserves respect. ✌🏻🇺🇦
