The left has once again shown where it (doesn’t) stand. 👎🏻 At the request of the EPP, the LIBE Committee will hold an extraordinary meeting this week to discuss the situation in Ceuta. Socialists, the Greens, and the far left voted against convening the meeting. ❌ Yes, they refused to support an emergency debate on the migration crisis at the EU’s external border. That is simply incomprehensible. When thousands of people are attempting to breach Europe’s borders, the only responsible response is to address the situation immediately. Instead, the European left continues to look the other way and pretend nothing is happening.
